Linda  Stokes -  I sign my paintings with my original or maiden name.

I was born in Welland, Ontario in 1947 and currently reside in St. Catharines. I started painting in 2000 and my medium is watercolour. My other interests are golf, physiotherapy (my day job), and horse racing. I’m really enjoying my watercolor painting. As a teen I was very interested in becoming an artist but practicality lead me to my profession as a physical therapist. Now, again, I can indulge my passion for drawing and painting, and I have combined my other passion of horse racing, thus the name of my studio “Manely Watercolors”. I have published art cards of some of my work and also some prints. Some of these originals are available, others were done as commissions or have been sold.
