After 36 years of factory work, Dave has recently retired and returned to art, which started as a childhood hobby. He took a one year art fundamentals course at Sheridan College in the very early seventies but was forced to put his passion for art away to make a living for his young family. Dave took free art lessons in May of 2009 at the Folk Arts Centre with instructor, Ed Telenko. Seven three hour lessons and he was hooked. Dave joined the Niagara Artists Centre and the St. Catharines Art Association to learn how to become a better artist.
